Shed Of The Year!

We are ‘on track’ for success at this years ‘shed of the year’ competition.

We are very excited to say that we are through to the finals of the 2020 Cuprinol Shed of the Year competition with our little workshop.

And going head to head with the legend that is Colin Furze (YouTube star and all round legend)

Our workshop has been open for one year now and we have created an area with a left luggage feel to it, a place where we store the suitcases and trunks, areas for building, paperwork and a dedicated area filming for our YouTube channel.

The competition sees 27 competitors battling for the crown across 9 categories. A winner from each will be decided by public vote, then an overall winner will be crowned by a panel of shed experts.

Head judge and founder of the competition Andrew Wilcox said, "More than ever, the events over recent months have shown us what a valuable role sheds can play in our lives”

Public voting is now underway for the 14th annual competition and will close on the 9th August. Wish us luck and we shall keep you posted.

Our First Business Birthday

On July the 20th Suitcase Trains became 1 years old.

We celebrated our business birthday in style with a cake commissioned from local Rugby business For Goodness Cake.

The day was spent reflecting over the whirlwind of our last year, from our first sale right through to winning our Small Business Sunday award from Theo Paphitis.

As well as eating cake!!

Please follow us on all of our socials and subscribe to our YouTube channel for many updates of our second year.

Theo Paphitis Win

On the 10th Feb 2020 we received a business boost from retail entrepreneur and Dragon Theo Paphitis. Becoming one of his six weekly winners, to gain a re-tweet and secure a place at his small business award ceremony and conference in Birmingham, where we met Theo himself and were presented with our business achievement certificate.

We are totally overwhelmed to win, its great to have support from Theo and that he has recognised our hard work.

Theo said, "we are thrilled to welcome new #SBS members every week and to highlight just how important it is to support our small business in the UK. My vision is that everyone who has ever won an #SBS re-tweet from me becomes part of a friendly club of like minded individuals who can share sucesses and learnings to be added to my website. This will give a valuable profile to the winners chosen and i wish Suitcase Trains every success."
